Travel directions

The resort village of Lenzerheide is located within easy reach from Zurich (approx. 2 hours). It can be reached either by car or by train and postbus. Below you will find a short description of the quickest ways from various points:

Car
From Basel and Zürich: Take the motorway A3 direction Chur, take exit 17 (Chur-Süd) and follow the signs toward Lenzerheide. It will take you about 20 minutes from the motorway to arrive in the village. The hotel Schweizerhof is situated right in the centre of town. You can stop in front of the hotel to check-in, afterward you find plenty of parking spaces around the hotel reserved for guests. (There is a garage as well, a space will need to be reserved in advance and there is a daily fee)
From Milan: First pass through Lugano and continue on the A2 to Bellinzona, where you change to the A13 to the San-Bernadino tunnel, from where you continue to Thusis. Take exit 22 (Thusis Süd) and follow the signs to Lenzerheide. You will reach the destination from the exit in about 30 minutes.

Railway/Postbus
Public transport is an easy alternative to reach Lenzerheide. Numerous national and international train connections bring you directly to Chur. (Zürich-Chur is only 1¼ h). Upon arrival in Chur station, you find the postbus terminal above the train tracks, where you have an immediate connection by postbus to Lenzerheide. The postbus takes approx. 30 minutes. In Lenzerheide, the bus stops across the street from the hotel (Lenzerheide Post). There are plenty of ski rental shops – making travel, check-in and ski rental a smooth experience, even with lots of luggage.

Air plane
From Zürich Airport you take the train to Zürich Main station and follow the directions above. Alternatively you can fly to Bodensee Airport Friedrichshafen, which is a small airport about 2 hours away from Lenzerheide. The Graubünden Express airport shuttle from Friedrichshafen brings you to Lenzerheide in 2 hours, without having to change buses.
